We have great pleasure in inviting all carers  to attend a workshop to discuss Carers strategic priorities for Merthyr Tydfil.  It is envisaged that this strategy will provide a framework which will inform future investments and potential developments for Carers funding over the next 5 years.  The draft strategy aims and objectives will be discussed and we will be grateful for your comments and any questions. 

To ensure the focus of the strategy encompasses the needs of current and potential Carers, we are hoping to obtain as many comments as possible from carers themselves. Some of you  may have already done this by completing the questionnaire previously sent out.

The workshop will be held on the Monday 19th September at 1pm at the Voluntary Action Centre, Pontmorlais, Merthyr Tydfil.

Your views and experience will be greatly appreciated and will help shape services for carers in Merthyr Tydfil in the years ahead.
