Volunteering Awards 2010 - WE NEED YOUR NOMINATIONS!
Voluntary Action Merthyr Tydfil is once again organising an annual celebration of volunteering in the community. This year we will only be holding one event which will be the Outstanding Achievement Awards, unfortunately the Certificate Ceremony will not be taking place, we ask that organisations contact the Volunteer Centre if they would like certificates for their volunteers.
The Outstanding Volunteering Achievement Awards will be held in the Penydarren Social Club on Thursday June 24th and will be by invitation only, with a buffet and entertainment provided. Tickets will be £5.00 per head.
You are invited to put forward nominations for the Outstanding Volunteering Achievement Awards by completing the nomination form. One award will be presented for each of the 10 categories. This year we have a new award which is ‘Promotion of the Welsh Language through Volunteering’, please see guidance notes for more information.
Please note that the closing date for nominations is Friday 7th May 2010.
