The One Show

The One Show will be launching My Story this coming Thursday, 24th September – BBC One, 7pm

A short film with people telling their stories will be shown.  Natasha Wood will present the film and is a wonderful example of someone who has turned her own life story into a One Woman Show, a book and a film script.

The BBC My Story road show will be visiting the Riverfront Theatre in Newport on Saturday the 17th of October.  Come along to see how things are done behind the scenes at the BBC and to have a go at writing your own story.

There are still places available to attend My Story training sessions to familiarise yourselves with our website and to attend story writing workshops. The details are:

·       Thursday, 1st Ocotber 2009 – BBC Broadcasting House, Cardiff

*Morning session: 10am to 1pm – FULL

*Afternoon session: 2pm to 5pm – 10 spaces remaining

·       Monday, 5th October 2009 – Glyndwr University, Wrexham

*Morning session: 10am to 1pm – 20 spaces remaining

            *Afternoon session: 2pm to 5pm – 3 0 spaces
