University of Wales, Newport offer Free Taster Sessions in July 09

Web Design ? Wednesday 8 July 3-5pm

An attractive, user-friendly website is essential for businesses to promote their products and services to a wider audience. The course will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to develop your own small website using programming tools and technologies.

Workplace Psychology ? Tuesday 14 July 3-5pm

A good understanding of workplace psychology can help us enhance performance and put into perspective the performance and behaviour of others. The taster will give you an introduction to organisational psychology and group processes.

Management Accounting / Financial Accounting ? Thursday 16 July 3-5pm

Techniques to prepare statements, balance sheets and financial forecasts as well as developing an understanding of the costing functions in a business organisation are part of the Accounting modules. This taster will examine Management Accounting versus Financial Accounting.

Each taster subject will be delivered as a full module from September.
