Voluntary Action Merthyr Tydfil has established a number of Fora as parts of it service to members. Each Forum provides members with a common interest and the opportunity to meet on a regular basis and to respond collectively on issues. Some forums have been established as a direct reference group to significant partnerships in the County Borough for example Children and Young People’s Voluntary Organisations Forum (CYPVOF) elects members to sit on the Children’s Partnership, the Young Peoples’ Partnership, and the Children and Young Peoples' Framework for Partnership.
All VAMT members are welcome to join the forums; the more coordinated approach the sector can show, the better response to issues can be given.
