GwirVol Grants 2012 - 2013
GwirVol is pleased to announce the launch of the 2012 - 2013 round 1 youth volunteering grants.
The aim of the GwirVol Youth Volunteering Grants scheme is to support the delivery of a wide range of new volunteering opportunities in Wales and overseas that will support the step change in access to volunteering for young people aged 14-25 and especially for disadvantaged young people. The GwirVol grant scheme offers five different strands of funding.
- Creating Opportunities: For organisations looking to create new youth volunteering projects, new youth volunteering roles or to recruit more young people into existing volunteering roles. Creating Opportunities grant applications can be for up to a maximum amount of £10,000.
- Promotions: For organisations looking to promote the benefits or challenge the perceptions of volunteering to young people or about young people to their local communities. Shout it out! grant applications can be for up to a maximum amount of £3,000.
- International: For organisations looking to develop overseas volunteering opportunities that benefit young people and their communities in Wales as well. International grant applications can be for up to a maximum amount of £30,000.
- Millennium Volunteers: For organisations looking to recognise the commitment young people give to volunteering through offering the 200 hour award of excellence. Millennium Volunteers grant applications can be for up to a maximum amount of £10,000.

Grantiau GwirVol 2012-2013
Mae’n bleser gan GwirVol gyhoeddi lansio grantiau gwirfoddoli ymhlith yr ifanc rownd 1 2012-2013.
Nod Grantiau Gwirfoddoli ymysg Pobl Ifanc GwirVol yw rhoi cymorth i gyflwyno amrywiaeth eang o gyfleoedd gwirfoddoli newydd yng Nghymru a thramor a fydd yn cefnogi’r newid sylweddol i bobl ifanc 14-25 oed gael gwirfoddoli, ac yn enwedig pobl ifanc dan anfantais. Mae cynllun grant GwirVol yn cynnig pum elfen nawdd wahanol:
- Creu Cyfleoedd: Ar gyfer mudiadau sydd am greu prosiectau gwirfoddoli newydd ar gyfer pobl ifanc, swyddogaethau gwirfoddoli newydd ar gyfer pobl ifanc, neu recriwtio mwy o bobl ifanc i swyddogaethau gwirfoddoli sydd eisoes yn bodoli. Gall ceisiadau grant Creu Cyfleoedd fod am uchafswm o £10,000.
- Hyrwyddo: Ar gyfer mudiadau sydd am hyrwyddo buddion neu herio’r farn am wirfoddoli ar gyfer pobl ifanc neu ynghylch pobl ifanc, yn eu cymunedau lleol. Gall ceisiadau grant Shout it out! Fod am uchafswm o £3,000.
- Rhyngwladol: Ar gyfer mudiadau sydd am ddatblygu cyfleoedd gwirfoddoli dramor, sydd o fudd i bobl ifanc a’u cymunedau yng Nghymru hefyd. Gall ceisiadau grant Rhyngwladol fod am uchafswm o £30,000.
- Gwirfoddolwyr y Mileniwm : Ar gyfer mudiadau sydd am gydnabod ymrwymiad pobl ifanc i wirfoddoli drwy gynnig y wobr rhagoriaeth 200 awr. Gall ceisiadau grant Gwirfoddolwyr y Mileniwm fod am uchafswm o £10,000.
