Supporting VAMT while selling on eBay.co.uk is easy; not only can you make a difference to VAMT by donating between 10% and 100% of your item’s final selling price, but you also benefit from your listing really standing out.

Your listing will be marked with a special blue and yellow ribbon, and will include the VAMT logo and Mission Statement.  Buyers can also easily search for charity items both on the main site and on the eBay for Charity hub.  This can often mean more bids and even more selling success!

After your item sells, VAMT will find your donation paid into its bank account, along with Gift Aid and an eBay fee donation.

The really good news is that, once the initial set-up has been completed, it requires little extra effort.  You just tick the charity box when you’re listing, choose the percentage of your final sale price you want to donate, and eBay takes care of the rest.

How to Start Selling for VAMT

Go to the ‘sell your item form’

• Find the ‘Donate a Percentage to Charity’ tab in the ‘How you’re Selling Section’.  To select VAMT go to the Charity Directory.  Once you have chosen VAMT, you will be asked to register with MissionFish.  Once you have done this you’ll return to where you were in the ‘See your Item Form’, where you choose the percentage to donate.  You can complete the rest of the form as normal.
• Once you submit your listing, it will appear with the special charity ribbon and the giving bar in the middle of the listing highlighting the benefiting charity and the percentage of the sale price going to it.
• If your listing is successful, you’ll get an email from MissionFish reminding you to pay your donation through your MissionFish account.  If you don’t have the time MissionFish will deduct the donation from your credit card.
