Support VAMT

Voluntary Action Merthyr Tydfil, like many other charities, relies on funding from external sources and donations.  If you are interested in supporting VAMT and the work it does within the Voluntary Sector in Merthyr below are a number of ways in which you can show your support:

Payroll Giving

What is Payroll Giving?

Payroll Giving enables employees of any business to give to any UK charity straight from their gross salary (before tax is deducted), giving immediate tax relief on those donations. This means that £10.00 donated each month costs only £7.80 for employees paying standard rate tax (£6.00 for higher rate taxpayers) and will be worth as much as £20.00 to the charity.

If you would like more information on how you can give to VAMT through payroll giving please contact VAMT’s Funding Officer on 01685 353900 or contact Iestyn Evans at Wales Council for Voluntary Action on (029) 2043 1777 / ievans@wcva.org.uk.

Legacies

A bequest from a donor’s Will is one of the more traditional forms of giving to charities and is very important to many charities, including VAMT.

One-Off Donations

If you would like to make a one-off donation to VAMT to go towards maintaining our activities and planning for the future please send a cheque or postal order made payable to "Voluntary Action Merthyr Tydfil" and send it to:
