The forum has representatives who sit on the Children and Young People’s Partnership Forum and the relative subgroups that sit on the forum will be available to view on a diagram.

 

Update on the proposed Children and Families (Wales) Measure

You will wish to be aware that on the 10 November, the National Assembly for Wales passed the proposed Children and Families (Wales) Measure.  The Measure will now be forwarded for approval by Privy Council.

The Measure makes statutory provision to take forward the Welsh Assembly Government’s commitment in terms of child poverty, and to take forward its strategy for vulnerable children by bringing forward legislation to provide greater support to families where children may be at risk, and strengthened regulatory enforcement in child care settings.

The Measure, as passed, and its supporting documents can be found on the National Assembly for Wales website.

Diweddariad ar y Mesur Plant a Theuluoedd (Cymru) Arfaethedig

Bydd o ddiddordeb i chi wybod i Gynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru basio’r Mesur Plant a Theuluoedd (Cymru) arfaethedig. Bellach caiff y Mesur ei drosglwyddo er mwyn sicrhau sêl bendith y Cyfrin Gyngor.

Mae’r Mesur yn gwneud darpariaethau statudol i ddwyn ymlaen ymrwymiad Llywodraeth Cynulliad Cymru ynghylch tlodi plant, ac i ddwyn ymlaen ei strategaeth ar gyfer plant sy’n agored i niwed trwy ddwyn ymlaen ddeddfwriaeth er mwyn darparu rhagor o gefnogaeth i deuluoedd lle gall plant fod mewn perygl, a chryfhau’r gwaith o orfodi rheoliadau mewn lleoliadau gofal plant.
