Consultation: Adult and Children's Social Services

The Welsh Assembly Government has formally set out the role of the Director of Social Services, which includes the responsibility to report on an annual basis on the effectiveness of the Council’s Social Services. 

Over the last 6 months, WAG been carrying out a thorough review in order to find out how effective we have been in providing and improving both our Adult and Children’s Social Services. Following this extensive period of review, the Director of Social Services has produced a draft report.  Before the Director can complete the final report, we wish to consult with our citizens, staff, partner organisations and other interested parties.

The period of consultation is 17th March - 20th April 2010.
