COMMUNITY TRANSPORT PETITION

The Welsh Government has announced that the Community Transport - Concessionary Fares Initiative (CTCFI) scheme will end on 31 March this year. The Community Transport Association Wales (CTA Wales) set up a petition to the National Assembly website to press for the continuation and expansion of concessionary fares on all community transport, on a separate fares basis.

In Merthyr Tydfil the CTCFI scheme has through AMVYCP provided a critical service for many of our community members. Without this service many individuals and groups would be unable to access local services and amenities and become reliant on others or even house bound.

We would be grateful if you would consider lending your support to this campaign and also bring this to the attention of individuals and groups in your area. You can do this via several methods but VAMT is offering support via:
