MERTHYR TYDFIL COMMUNITY TRANSPORT FORUM

The Community Transport Forum provides an opportunity for organisations that provide transport to their client base to:

  • meet on a regular basis
  • to have links with the Local Authority, NHS Ambulance Trust and others
  • have access to grant funding via the Local Transport Services Grant
  • respond collectively to local, regional, and national consultations and issues that affect them.

TERMS OF REFERENCE

The Forum has agreed terms of reference which are reviewed at least every two years.  The next review will be undertaken in 2009.

A copy of the terms of reference can be found at Terms of Reference.doc

MEMBERSHIP

The current membership includes a broad range of Third Sector organisations operating locally, regionally and nationally.
Third sector organisations participating in the Forum are encouraged to become members of VAMT, and can register by downloading and completing an application form here.

Statutory partners are also welcome to engage with the Forum for the benefit of information sharing, consultation and networking.
